Peace Chapel & Garden of Meditation – Big Spring, Texas

Trinity’s newest area is located across from the Peace Chapel in the Garden of Meditation. This garden within a garden combines mausoleum entombment, cremation niches, benches and stones along with family burial estates.  It is also the first garden to use granite monuments. Trinity was opened in 1950 as one of West Texas finest cemeteries.  It continues to set the standard of excellence for service to area families. Come see for yourself, 5 miles south of Big Spring on Highway #87.

The Peace Chapel  provides an open air facility for committal services held at Trinity Memorial Park. The inspiration for the chapel is the traditional clap board country church found all over Texas. Movable windows provide wind breaks and can be removed to allow a cooling breeze during summer heat. The chapel’s one of a kind stained glass window was designed and constructed by local artisan Bill Brooks.

Each month we will share photos from TCA member cemeteries or historic sites in Texas.

This month Nancy and Phillip Welch of Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas have shared the new additions to their facility.
