Frederick Julius Tips, Jr.
September 10, 1923 – December 3, 2011
It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of a former President of the Texas Cemeteries Association, Frederick Julius Tips, Jr. Mr. Tips was a part of our Association for many, many years and served as our President from 1980 to 1982. He was also the first Secretary of the TCA Committee for Consumer Complaints for the Cemetery Consumer Service Council.
Over the years Mr. Tips’ family has been very invloved in serving in the Texas Cemeteries Association. His brother, Will Tips, and his son, Dick Tips have also served as Presidents of the Association.
Mr. Tips was born and lived in San Antonio, Texas, and was a third generation owner of his family’s business Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemeteries which was founded in 1907. For more information about Mr. Tips please click on the link below.
